I hope that everyone is safe and sound after the storms of last week. Hopefully everyone has electricity, internet service and any other interrupted services back as well. As we move into February, we have some announcements that we are very excited to make. We hope that you'll be excited about them too.
New Year, New Treat Contest Winner!
We'll start by announcing the winner of the New Year, New Treat contest. We had several great ideas and we'll hold on to all of them, so even if you didn't win this time, keep an eye out for your treat idea in the future. The winner of the contest was Jennifer Gilmore, who suggested a salmon flavored treat in a cute fish shape. Jennifer wins a $25 Visa gift card and a pound of the new treat. The treat she designed will be available in our store beginning February 18th. Jennifer wasn't the only one to suggest salmon, so we are happy to announce we have two runners-up, Leslie Ray of Angel Pet Sitters, who suggested a Salmon Biscotti and Tiffany Birkinbine who mentioned salmon is great for dog's coats. Both Leslie and Tiffany will receive a free pound of the new treat.
Bigwag Introduces Yappy Hour
We are so excited to announce that we will be hosting Yappy Hour at Bigwag Dog Bakery every Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm, starting Tuesday, February 17th. Come join us for fun specials and a chance to socialize your dog in the warmth and convenience of our store! Put these upcoming specials on your calendar:
February 17th - Want to try the new treat before you buy it? You can! Your dogs can be among the very first to sample the new salmon treat when you attend our very first Yappy Hour. We'll have a sneak preview of the new treat, beverages for you, and you can take home a pound of the new treat for only $5.00.
February 24th - Mardi Gras at Bigwag! We'll be giving away beads for you and your dog, plus there will be king cake for your dog, and the dog who finds the "baby" will win a prize!
March 3rd - Bigwag's Next Top Product Contest. We challenged our employees to find the next hot pet item. Come find out what they discovered. Your purchase will decide the winner!
March 10th - Coffee House Night at Bigwag. We'll have free coffee drinks for you and free biscotti samples for you dog, plus 50% off all biscotti to take home!
An Apple a Day...
We know that things are a little tighter right now than they normally are, and we want to help you in anyway possible. That's why we want to bring you high quality products that help keep your dog out of the vet's office. In this spirit we are proud to announce that we are adding several preventative products to our line. The biggest - Frontline Plus! We hope to have this in by the end of the week! We'll also be bringing adding new eye wipes and ear wipes that can help prevent infections. And we're introducing a pet friendly spot cleaner and disinfectant/deodorizer specifically made for keeping your home clean and germ free. We expect all these products in within the next week, so look for them coming soon!
We Want Your Photos
We love our customers and we love pictures of your dog with our treats. Bring us a picture of your dog eating our treats or doing a trick for our treats so we can post them on our photo board and we'll give you ten free treats.
