There are so many good deals left to be had.  You can still get guaranteed products like Planet Dog toys and Lupine collars and leads at these sunstantial savings.  And because these products are guaranteed by the manufacturers, you can return them to ANY location that sells them, so save now and still get the guarantee.

Also, this is the last chance to get your Red Dingo or Rockin' Doggie customized id tags, because after this we'll be sending them back to the manufacturers.  These are high quality tags with custom engraving and you can save 40% on them as well.

And, remember, you can still special order treats to store!  We will continue taking treat orders for treats that we have ingredients for on a first come, first serve basis.  Please note that we can no longer take orders for the following treats: Apple Blossom, Allergy, Biscotti, Breath Mints, Barkday Cakes, Diet Treats, Oatmeal Softbites, Peanut Barkers, Peanut Butter Softbites and Veggie Treats.  These treats are limited to what is in stock.

Store Closing - Everything Now 30% OFF

Hey Everyone!

Thank you to everyone who sent such sweet replies and kind words to our previous newsletter announcing our business closing.  It truly has been a pleasure working with and getting to know all of you and we are sorry that we will no longer get to see and interact with you on a daily basis. 

We wanted to let you know that

beginning today, Monday, August 15th, everything in the store in now 30% OFF! 

Be sure to check out the remaining Canidae All Life Stage and Lamb & Rice foods available in a variety of sizes.  We also have a limited supply of Advantage for 11-20 pound dogs.  And the other hot deal of the week is dog themed Christmas cards!  Get them now at a steal for the upcomping holiday.  Remember everything is first come first serve and the only limits are what's in stock. 

You can still special order your favorite treats!  They will last 3-6 months in your pantry or even longer in your freezer.  Order your favorite flavor today before it's no longer available.  Please note: we are no longer able to take special orders for allergy treats, apple blossoms or cinnamon swirls.  These items are limited to what's in stock in the store.  But everything else is still available for you to special order!  Just come in or call us at (479) 631-2924 to place your order before they're gone.

Finally, a quick note for those of you who have been asking, Cary and I welcomed out son, Noah Dillon into the world on Monday, August 1st at noon.  He weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces and measured 19 inches long.  Photos are available on Cary's Facebook page and I hope to post some on our blog soon.  We are very blessed to have welcomed a sweet, healthy child into our family and we thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and warm wishes.

Going Out of Business

Hey Everyone!

This is probably the most difficult newsletter I have ever written.  And so, in order to make this as easy as possible, I will simply get to the truth. 

After five years, we have decided that we will be closing our doors. 

This is not a decision we came to lightly or easily.  Bigwag has been a labor of love over the past five years, it has taken on its own personality to the point that we think of it as an entitiy of its own.  But the truth is, we cannot sustain it any longer.  We have made fantastic friends over the past five years, both from the fabulous customers who have walked through our doors and from the pet professionals and volunteers who have participated in numerous events that we have attended.  But we cannot go forward on this love alone.  We had hoped by this point that we would have several stores throughout the Northwest Arkansas area, that Bigwag would be a household name when considering all things healthy for your pet and that the business would be thriving.  Unfortunately, that is not the case.

So, it is that I'm announcing that

beginning today, Monday, August 1st, we will be selling EVERYTHING in the store at 20% OFF! 

We will continue to bake treats and we will take special orders for treats on a first come, first serve basis.  As we run out of ingredients, we will simply be unable to make certain treats.  We would like to remind you that our hard treats will last 3-6 months under normal room conditions and that they can be frozen for even longer.  So, should you like to stock up on years worth of treats, we can help you with that if you act before the ingredients run out.

Thank you to all of you for being wonderful friends and customers over the past five years and we hope to see you again before the doors close for good!
