HELP RAISE BRANDI'S BAIL!
Brandi has been arrested and charged with being guilty of doing good for babies by the March of Dimes! She needs to raise $1000 to make bail today. And I really need her to be able to work here. So help get her out of jail by donating to her page at the March of Dimes website. Please help us get Brandi back!
A BIG BIRTHDAY THANK YOU!
Our fourth birthday was marvelous success! Thank you to everyone who came out, because without you there would be no birthday and no Bigwag. Also thanks to our great vendors who come out and donate to the goody bags & giveaways each year to make the birthday party the success it is. An especially big thanks to Daylight Donuts of Lowell, Mountainbird Coffee Comapany of Eureka Springs and Arkansas Fireplaces & Grills for helping with the food! Congratulations to "Team Mollie" for winning the Biggest Wag Contest and to Maddie, owned by Nicole Harris, for being our Year of Free Treats Winner. A few other notes from the party:
- Dixieland Products sold $68 in lip balm which will be donated to the Humane Society.
- Northwest Arkansas Animal Rescue microchipped 20 animals and raised $320 for their cause.
- Deborah Billingsley signed up 25 people for portrait sittings and the sitting fee plus 10% of the purchases will be donated to local animal rescues. (By the way, Deborah is continuing this special for the month of August, so if you'd like to have portraits done while giving back, please contact her!)
YAPPIE HOUR
Yappie Hour is every Tuesday from 5pm-7pm. They're an excellent way to meet other dogs and dog owners in a small scale setting! This summer we're hosting a series of breed meet-ups.
Tuesday, August 10th - Pug Party. Pugs just wanna have fun! These dogs may be little, but that doesn't mean they're small on personality. So we thought we'd have a Yappie Hour just for them. Tonight all pugs save big because all their treats are 50% OFF!
Tuesday, August 17th - Back to School. We like to help out the community anyway we can and we know there are always children that go back to school without the supplies they need. So we're asking you to help by bringing in school supplies tonight. In exchange, you save 20% on everything in the store!
Tuesday, August 24th - Pampered Pup Night. There are lots of dogs out there that are not just loved, they are pampered and adored! Show us how spoiled your dog is by bringing them in in their best dress. The more dressed up they are, the more you save! You could save 10-50% on your treats tonight plus up to 20% on clothing!
Tuesday, August 31st - Ice Cream Social. Dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes will love this Yappie Hour! We'll have ice cream treats for dogs and people alike, because there's no better way to cool off on a hot day than with a cold ice cream cone!

Helping Paws Meeting

Description: Well behaved dogs (on leashes) are welcome. Our “Helping Paws” group is an informal group of people, some of who are already part of a licensed therapy-dog team. We encourage those who feel they might be interested in this type of volunteerism to join with us, ask questions, and interact with the group.

Description: Get your pet microchipped to comply with Springdale's new ordinance or just because you want your baby to be able to find it's way home if it's ever lost! You do not have to be a Springdale resident to attend the microchipping clinic. The Springdale Animal Shelter is located at 321 E. Randall Wobbe Ln.
Candlelight Vigil for the Homeless Animals

Description: Candlelight vigil held annually at Murphy Dog Park to honor the memory of shelter animals euthanized each year. (Look for a specific time added to the calendar soon!)
