Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26th, is Yappy Hour from 5pm-7pm. We're having a Puppy Shower for the Humane Society. We're collecting donations for the Humane Society - things like laundry soap, towels, blankets, trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, rubbing alcohol, even gift cards to Lowe's or Home Depot. Bring in a donation and save 50% on your treat purchase. Help fill the back of a pick-up truck!
This Saturday, May 30th, we're having an I love Lucy Party from 4pm-6pm at Bigwag. Lucy is a rescue pug who was given 3 to 6 months to live. That was over a year ago and Lucy is still going strong, so we're celebrating with cake and punch for people and cake for dogs. Drop in between 4pm and 6pm for the festivities!
Sunday, May 31st is Bark at the Ballpark, take your dog to watch the Naturals play, 2:30pm at Arvest Ballpark, dog admission is free with a paid adult.
Next Tuesday, June 2nd Yappy Hour's is a picnic theme, stop in from 5pm to 7pm to save 50% on your Bark-B-Q Ribs or Bark-B-Q Trainer Chips.

Dogwood Walk/Bark Park Opening Updates
Happy Friday! I have a few updates to pass along this afternoon. The Bark Park Grand Opening is going to be rescheduled due to the threat of severe weather. I do not have a new date yet, but as soon as I hear something, I will pass it along. You can also check our events calendar at www.calendar.bigwag.com for the latest information available. Bigwag Dog Bakery May Newsletter
Hello Everyone!
It's so lovely to see the sun this morning. I'm not sure how long it will stick around, but we'll hope for the best.

First, a few thank yous and updates on events that happened in April. Thanks to everyone who came out for Murphy Dog Park's Annual Bunny Hop! We had a fantastic turn out, the dogs had a great time hunting Easter Eggs and over $1000 was raised to support the park. Thanks also to all the vendors and participants that stuck it out in the rain at the first annual NWA Skyhoundz Event. The dogs were impressive and Matt already has his sights set on a bigger, better event for next year. Finally, thank you to all the volunteers from NWAAR, especially Dr. Harper and Angie, and all the participants in the Micro-chipping clinic. We vaccinated or microchipped 71 dogs and 6 cats between 10am and 2:30pm on Saturday April 18th! That's a lot of money raised for a great rescue and a lot of dogs who can now find their way home!
Summer Hours at the Humane Society
Clay Morgan asked us to pass along the news that the Humane Society is open on Sundays from 1pm to 3pm from now through the end of summer, giving you more time to adopt a new family member.
Murphy Dog Park Memberships
For those of you who use Murphy Dog Park, remember it is a private park supported by your membership. If you don't have tags, stop by Bigwag and buy yours today, $5 per dog for a year membership. For those of you who bought your tags a year ago, come by and renew today.
Yappy Hour at Bigwag
We are continuing to have a great time at Yappy Hour every Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm. This past Tuesday we celebrated Cinco de Mayo, complete with chips, queso and margarita treats. If you missed out, don't fret, we have plenty more Yappy Hours coming up, including:
May 12th - Mother's Day. It might be a few days late, but we want to celebrate all the dog "m oms" out there. So, moms, come by with your dogs, get a flower and save 50% on our Spring flower treats.
May 19th - Pizza Night. This is one you can't resist. Stop by, get a slice of pizza for yourself and get a pound of pizza guys for your dog for only $5.00.
May 26th - Puppy shower for the Humane Society. Bring a puppy shower gift for the Humane Society (it can be anything, laundry Soap, Pine Sol, peroxide, trash bags, etc.) and you get 50% off your treat purchase. Let's fill my pick-up with goodies for the HUmane Society! If you're not sure what to bring, give us a call and we'll get you a more complete list of items that the Humane Society needs.

Bark Park Grand Opening Postponed
Due to the weather, the Bark Park Grand Opening is postponed until Saturday, May 16th. It will still be from 10am to 1pm. The Dogwood Walk is a rain or shine event, so it will still be tomorrow from 9am to 12:30pm. Let's hope for a break in the rain!
