Happy June Everyone!

I can't believe we're already into the 6th month of 2009. Blink and your life just flies by. The end of July we'll celebrate 3 years of being in business already! Which brings me to a very important question. In the past we have typically held our birthday party in the middle of the day, but it's always sooo HOT. We'd like to change the time to combat the heat. My question to you- (PLEASE reply to sales@bigwag.com with your opinions) Would you rather attend an event earlier on a Saturday morning (think 9am-12pm) or later Saturday evening (6pm-9pm)?

As it begins to get hotter, the events thin out, but for the time being we still have lots of dog friendly events to tell you about. Remember you can always check out the most up to date information we have at

New Hours at Bigwag
Our biggest news this month is we have changed our hours! We are now opening at 9am to better serve all you early birds. We're running an early bird special for the entire month of June. Come in before 10am and you get 20% off your purchase.

Yappy Hour
Yappy is still going strong every Tuesday from 5pm-7pm here at Bigwag. We have different specials each week, so be sure to stop by to take part in the fun. June's Yappy Hour Specials are:

June 9th - Ice Cream Social. Is there anything better than ice cream in the summer? How about free ice cream for you and your dog plus buy 2 get 1 free ice cream treats!
June 16th - Kitty Pity Party. While we're a dog bakery, we love all animals. And we do have a kitty corner for your feline friends. This Yappy Hour we're introducing new toys and treats for the kitties, plus you get 25% off anything in the kitty corner.
June 23rd - Father's Day. We celebrated dog "moms" last month, so of course we have to celebrate the guys who aren't afraid to pick up slobbery balls or wrestle! All dog "dads" get free tie treats tonight.
June 30th - Patriotic Pup Parade. Celebrate the U.S.A. with your D O G! Bring your dog in his best patriotic wear. The most festive dog wins a gift basket. Plus, 50% off patriotic treats.

Don't forget, the Humane Society is open 1pm-3pm on Sundays for the summer and you can still purchase your Murphy Dog Park memberships at Bigwag Dog Bakery for only $5 per dog.

For those of you wondering, I still have no information on the Bark Park Grand Opening, but I will send it along a soon as I hear anything. In the meantime, the park is open, but I have been told you need to bring your own water as there is none currently available on-site.
