YAPPIE HOUR
Yappie Hour is every Tuesday from 5pm-7pm. Each night has it's own theme and it's own specials, so be sure to check them all out. They're an excellent way to meet other dogs and dog owners in a small scale setting!
Tuesday, May 11th - Picnic Night. We have Spring fever! Come in tonight for Buy One Get One Free Bark-B-Q Ribs, Bark-B-Q Trainer Chips, Bowser Beer and Spring Critter Treats. Plus we'll have picnic treats for people and available for of course special picnic treats for dogs as well.
Tuesday, May 18th - Take me out to the Ballgame! We're celebrating all things baseball. Baseball jerseys and Planet Dog baseballs will be 20% OFF. There will be baseball treats for every dog that comes in and peanuts and Crackerjack for people. Plus, everyone who comes in will have a chance to win tickets to Sunday's Naturals "Bark at the Ballpark" Game! We'll also be giving away tickets on our blog, so watch for details there!
Tuesday, May 25th - Puppy Shower. Because the Humane Society gets numerous puppies at this time of year, they need supplies. So, tonight, when you bring in supplies like Pine-Sol, Laundry soap and Lowes gift cards, you get 50% OFF all treat purchases. Let's fill a truck with supplies for puppies in need!
Tuesday, June 1st - Retriever Night. June begins our breed meet-up series of Yappie Hours. We're kicking it off with the Retrievers. If you have Lab, a Golden or a Retriever Mix, bring your dog in tonight to meet other Retrievers, plus you'll save 20% on all balls and floating toys just in time for summer! Description: Art for Homeless Animals II is slated for the entire month of May at Jammin Java on the Fayetteville Square . Several local artists have generously donated work to help these special critters. The show is supporting FIVE local animal rescue organizations: Fayetteville Animal Shelter, Humane Society of the Ozarks, Rogers Humane Society for Animals, the Bella Vista Animal Shelter and Spay Arkansas.

Description: Well behaved dogs (on leashes) are welcome. Our “Helping Paws” group is an informal group of people, some of who are already part of a licensed therapy-dog team. We encourage those who feel they might be interested in this type of volunteerism to join with us, ask questions, and interact with the group.

Description: The Dogwood Walk allows participants to enjoy booths, demonstrations, contests and a walk around this historic venue while raising funds to promote the humane treatment of all Animals in Northwest Arkansas.

Description: Visit with vendors, tour the hospital and learn about keeping your pets healthy from the staff at New Hope Animal Hospital.

Description: The popular "Bark in the Ballpark" sponsored by Del-Monte Pet Products promotion where fans can bring their dogs to the ballpark. Want to join the Bigwag Crew at the Ballpark? We'll be meeting at Bigwag at 12:00pm to caravan to the event and we'll purchase our tickets at the gate. Those wearing yellow get a surprise!
