Ahh. The cool air is here and it seems that fall is just around the corner. With the cooler weather, the events start heating up. Be sure to check out all the events at the end of the newsletter so you and your dog can join in the fun.
CASTING CALL FOR BIG WAGS!
Next Thursday, September 9th at 12pm, we are shooting our very first ever TV commercial! We need your dog! We're looking for dogs with big wags to participate in our commercial. If your dog has what it takes to be a wagging star (we're looking for all different sizes and shapes of tails), stop by next Thursday at noon. Production will take an hour or less, we will just need each dog for a few minutes of footage, so you won't have to stay the entire time. KNWA will then take the footage back and put it together to make an awesome commercial. But, we definitely won't be able to do it without you. So stop by and make your dog's wag famous!
YAPPIE HOUR
Yappie Hour is every Tuesday from 5pm-7pm. They're an excellent way to meet other dogs and dog owners in a small scale setting! We are finished with our breed meet up series for the summer, but don't worry if your breed didn't get their own Yappie Hour, because breed meet up will continue next summer. For now, we're going back to Yappie Hours for all!
Tuesday, September 7 - Halloween Sneak Peak. Halloween is a month away, but that's no reason not to have a great costume. Come by tonight as we unveil our Haloween toys and costumes and not only will you be the first to see the latest designs, but you save 25%!
Tuesday, September 14th - Tuesday Night Lights. Football season is upon us, and we have lots of great Razorback gear to get your dog in the spirit. Stop by tonight for 20% OFF Razorback jerseys, tees and dresses. Plus, save on Planet Dog footballs and of course our football treats!
Tuesday, September 21st - National Dog Week Celebration. Did you know September 19th-25th is National Dog Week? Started in 1928 as a week to celebrate the bond between man and dog and educate dog owners, it's now nearly overlooked. So, we say, let's bring it back! Come in tonight and celbrate your dog with Buy One Get One Free Treats!
Tuesday, Sewptember 28th - Sam's 4th Birthday. Sam's turning four and he wants everyone to come by tonight for free cake! And since Sam has everything he could ever ask for, we ask that you please bring donations for the Humane Society in lieu of gifts.

Description: Well behaved dogs (on leashes) are welcome. Our “Helping Paws” group is an informal group of people, some of who are already part of a licensed therapy-dog team. We encourage those who feel they might be interested in this type of volunteerism to join with us, ask questions, and interact with the group.
