It is chilly this morning! Sam has his coat on and is snuggled by my feet as I type this newsletter. I hope it finds you warm and well. There are not many events this month, but there are still some things worth noting. For example, we'll be holding our second annual Bark Friday sale on November 26th! YAPPIE HOUR
We're making a change! We are extending Yappie Hour! Just for those of you who said, once you get home, you want to stay there, we're making it easier to stop in on your way home. Yappie Hour is now every Tuesday from 4pm-7pm. Join us for the deals and fun.
Tuesday, November 9th - Donut Day. Okay, so National Donut Day was really the 5th. But, I don't think your dog really cares too much about details like that! So, swing by tonight for free donuts for people and get Buy One Get One Free donuts for dogs.

Tuesday, November 30th - Slumber Party. November is also Sleep Comfort Month, pobably because it's all you want to do after eating all that turkey! We believe dogs deserve to sleep well too. Art Show for Friends of Fayetteville Animal Shelter
When: TONIGHT! Thursday, November 4, 5pm – 9pm
Where: Bank of America Building on the Fayetteville downtown square ()
Description: Friends of the Fayetteville Animal Shelter has partnered with Julie Koehring Brents, a local artist, who specializes in custom oil paintings, commissioned art and personalized pet portraits. Due to Julie's great love for animals and our animal shelter, she has pledged 25% of her profits to our organization. On November 4th, 2010, her first art show benefiting the Friends of the Fayetteville Animal Shelter will be held on the main floor of the Bank of America Building on the Fayetteville downtown square. This event will be from 5pm to 9pm and will feature Julie's great passion not only for art, but also for animals.
Helping Paws Meeting When: TONIGHT! Thursday, November 4, 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Where: Peace Lutheran Church, located at 8th and Olrich Street in Rogers, AR ()
Description: Well behaved dogs (on leashes) are welcome. Our “Helping Paws” group is an informal group of people, some of who are already part of a licensed therapy-dog team. We encourage those who feel they might be interested in this type of volunteerism to join with us, ask questions, and interact with the group.
